First there's sadness.
You don't really want to talk about it.
Maybe you shed a tear or two.
A few hours and you're over it.
Then there's devastation.
You seclude yourself in a room.
Cry for a few hours.
Go to sleep in your tears.
Thirdly comes hopelessness.
You cry and cry for hours on end.
Curl into a ball on the shower floor.
Soaked in your own tears and sweat.
Then you're just numb.
You can't feel anything.
Can't even cry anymore.
Lay down and stare at the wall.
All you hear is ringing.
All you see is blurry.
Everything tastes and smells like rubber.
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
